Bug Description
Binary package hint: anjuta
Concerns Anjuta 2.4.1 in hardy heron.
Problem:
Anjuta will not successfully open shell scripts (.sh) or hidden files prefixed with '.' for editing.
Reproduce:
* Open Anjuta.
* Open file as specified in 'Problem' section.
Expected Result:
Opens file with contents for editing.
Actual Result:
Opens a blank file and not the one specified.

Thanks for your bug report. However, I cannot reproduce your problem. If I start anjuta and use File->Open to open e.g. .bashrc, the file is opened. Same for a .sh file.
Please describe again how exactly you are opening the file (and - I don't know whether it's of any importance - whether you use the scintilla or the gtksourceview editor).
