slow button paint open office

Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org-base

When opening Word or Spreadsheet, the buttons paint is very slow. As you are typing, they repaint (again very slow)

Thank you for reporting this issue and trying to make Ubuntu better. Could you please re-report this issue with apport (basically you go to help in OpenOffice then then select "Report a bug") as this provides us with more information about your system and what might be going on. Also could you please post the new bug number in this bug when you have finished reporting it so I can investigate this issue further.

I just thought I should mention that while apport will save you a lot of time in getting the information that we need for the report there is a link that you can follow as a guide https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs if you wish.
