No problems with "linux-image-2.6.24-19-openvz ( 2.6.24-19.36)".

While running "linux-image-2.6.24-20-openvz (2.6.24-20.38)"
a "vzctl stop VEID" gives a timeout and:

 - /var/log/syslog gets every 10th second a new entry:
"... unregister_netdevice: waiting for lo to become free. Usage count = 2"
 - System load increase
 - Network not responsive
 - "reboot" starts but does not succeed, I have to use "reset" for the host (HN)

Opposite of the fix?

Another one with this problem.

If I try to vzctl stop 'guest' it will eventually time out with the following messages in syslog:

unregister_netdevice: waiting for lo to become free. Usage count = 2

This takes all networking down on the host machine.
I have to physically reset the host.
If I'm using a USB keyboard then it will cease to work.

OpenVZ seemed perfect for what I wanted, scuppered again :(

Any idea of if this is a known problem and if it is likely to get fixed?

Thanks.
