Bug Description

When I go into mplayer-386 and am using mozilla-mplayer thats integrated into
Mozilla Firefox and into full screen mode (theatrical, dark screen, etc.), then
revert back to regular mode (rest of page text is seen, etc.) so that I can see
the entire page, sometimes the Trash window opens. I dont know why. I can
reproduce this bug by using the latest build that you can get from the Synaptic
repos, and by going into full screen mode whilst viewing a movie clip (I did it
at www.apple.com/trailers), revert back into the regular mode

Additionally, sometimes when you go into full screen mode with mozilla-mplayer
while the movie is playing, you can see a copy of a previous frame of the movie.
To fix this occurrence, revert back and forth into and away from full screen
movie playing mode. Same credentials as above.

This bug happens here, also. In order to exit full-screen mode in
mozilla-mplayer, you click a button on the bottom right of the screen. This kills full screen mode, but also opens up the trash can.

Ubuntu Version 6.06 beta

mozilla-mplayer version 3.17-1ubuntu1

Any idea as to what's wrong? Could it be with the codecs?

When you click the button to exit full-screen mode, the click is being passed on to the Wastebasket icon on the bottom-right of your gnome task bar. I'm not sure if this is a mozilla-mplayer issue, or an issue with the window manager.

I got the same bug if I click the full screen button (under the right hand side bottom). The bug can be easily avoided if I do a right click on the video and select Full screen mode instead.

Confirming this bug on Gutsy. It does indeed seem to be the trash icon in the lower right of the panel, moving the icon fixes the problem.

I'm getting this bug on Lucid. I think this is a regression from previous versions.
