Bug Description
Almost total newb alert
I just installed Kubuntu (Intrepid) to an Acer Aspire 5000 and there is this weird screen noise that I can't seem to figure out how to lose. Here's a pic

I haven't installed any video drivers (screen resolutions are all there, I think it might be the refresh rate cause it seems stuck at 60hz if that's normal) and here is my lspci output
