X crashes when i try to shutdown.

Bug Description

Sometimes, when I try to shutdown using the "graphic way " (menu--> Shutdown) X crashes and I can't do anything, neighter change virtual terminals. Caps lock is also blocked. After reboot I found this error into logs:

> kdm[8345] X server for display :0 terminated unexpectedly

After a crash and reboot, could you attach copies of your /var/log/Xorg.0.log files and the output of lspci -vvnn (two v's, not a w) please? Thanks in advance.

I've posted a new version of the -fglrx driver to our xorg-edgers PPA,
would you mind testing it either on Jaunty or Karmic and see if it
resolves this bug?
