Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-bin

after russian language support install it is not possible to change menu language back to english thru system/administration/Language support as there only option is russian. uninstalling russian causes messages about incomplete language support. Also russian support is too aggressive - it changes all the programs to russian without warning.

The English language packs are installed by default, so they should be available in the language selector. Can you please do a screenshot how it looks for you, and open a Terminal and copy&paste the output of

  dpkg -l language-pack* | cat

here? Thank you!

and here I attach screenshot of language selector.
there is disabled language selection and it says that languages is not installed completely. It's because I removed latvian and russian (unchecked in language selector). If I install one of them it changes all menus to that language. And still english is not an option.
