Bug Description

When the desktop is dropped to another resolution, eg by playing a game (like gcompris which drops resolution to 800x600) or changing resolution using gnome-display-properties, the items on the gnome panel, eg Menu bar, application launchers, are moved across to fit on the reduced panel. However, when changing back to a higher resolution, as happens every time one quits a game that drops resolution, all the icons remain in their new positions, meaning that every panel item is clustered to one side. This means that thay mus all be moved back manually every time after playing a game or dropping the resolution.

Btw, my desktop usually runs at 1024x768
