Bug Description

Hi,
On opening a nautilus window or navigating up and down the hierarchy the buttons that show the path components are slightly corrupt (see attached image).
Hovering ove rthe button causes it to redraw OK.

All other Gnome rendering seems fine.

Thanks for your bug. Does it happen with an another GTK theme? What videocard do you use? Does is happen with another application?

Hi,
  1) Hmm it doesn't seem to happen with other themes; I've never setup my own theme, and I think it is the theme that has been on the machine since Hoary. However when I went to choose theme it called this one 'custom theme' - I've saved it and included the theme file as an attachment.
  2) The videocard is an ATI Radeon 7200; default Ubuntu drivers (no closed source stuff), running at 1600x1200.
  3) I don't think I've seen it on other apps - but while I was fiddling changing the theme I thought I managed to get it onto one of its buttons; but certainly I haven't noticed it on anything else repeatedly.

This is the theme file which gives me corrupt displays; but I thought I was on the ubuntu default

Hmm - this isn't just nautilus.
I've seen this again; this time with the 'Human' theme selected on one of the buttons in the Firefox preferences dialog - so I'm assuming this is one of the libraries rather than nautilus.

It is happen on the 'Connection Settings' button in the 'General' tab repeatedly. I've got to wonder whether that is related to that button having an icon as well as text in it.

I'm not sure which package to move this bug to.

That's an ATI driver issue, marking as duplicate of bug #42237
