brasero says zero min remaining with blank DVD-R's. not able to burn any DVD, be it movie or data. CD burning is fine though.

Thanks for your report, could you run brasero from the command line as: brasero --brasero-media-debug --debug &> brasero-debug.txt perform the operation to reproduce the bug and attach the resulting file to the report?. Thanks in advance

Yes you need to run that command, please also try it with Jaunty or Karmic, brasero version on 8.10 is known to not work correctly.

i have recently switched over from being a prolific windows user to a regular linux user, and ubuntu really left a good impression on me except for this blot (brasero). it is really disappointing and more so because this is the application that is ported with the basic installation of ubuntu......i hate piracy, but i am helpless.
