Bug Description

Ctrl-Alt-Del is currently not used in Dapper, alot of users will find it useful.

Would it be good to bind it with gnome-system-monitor?

I include this script, the gconf key is empty so there's no conflict with it.

#!/bin/sh

 gconftool-2 -t str --set /apps/metacity/global_keybindings/run_command_9 "<Control><Alt>Delete"

        gconftool-2 -t str --set /apps/metacity/keybinding_commands/command_9 "gnome-system-monitor"

Thanks for your bug report. I'm quite sure we had this but filed already and made a decision about it. I know that many people from the windows world will like it. I feel unsure about it, as Ctrl-Alt-Delete doesn't fit to 'System Status' in my mind at all.

Me too, I don't see any relevance with system status to the key combinations. But alot people are used to it. It's a WIndows tradition.

Nothing bad with a windows tradition. maybe if not using it for System Status maybe it can bring up the screen where we can choose to log-out shut-down etc. This also would make it behave more as windows and would be even more useful I think.

If someone has manually configured command_9 for something and then upgrades? Wouldn't this replace it?
