Bug Description

Karmic Alpha5 is having problems with the built-in 4-in-1 USB card reader in my HP Pavilion a300n.

I booted from CD to try installing to a 4GB SDHC card. Although the device was detected at boot, the card insertion/removals were not detected.

So I put the card in a Chipbank SD-to-USB converter, plugged it in, and successfully installed.

Then I moved the card back to the SD slot in the hopes of fixing up grub configuration. Not only did fail to mount the card, but it threw an error during an error reporting process:
This problem report does not apply to a packaged program. (/var/lib/os-prober/mount/bin/mount)
I'm attaching lspci and dmesg output.

/Guy

Now at Karmic beta. Can't boot UNR from unetbootin'd USBKey.

During boot, failing to mount /dev/loop1 on /cow and dropped to initramfs. Including in attachment various files collected during boot process when it dropped to busybox.

Hope this helps.
