Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdevelop3

When I start kdevelop3, I can't do anything but open existing projects, change the settings, or view the help. This started happening about a month ago. I'd like to be able to create a new project, or import an existing project.

Submitter. Is this still an issue? I just installed kdevelop3 3.3.2-0ubuntu2 on a fairly fresh kubuntu install and I cannot reproduce this? Thank you.

Yes, I only submitted this bug a few hours ago. I assume that kdevelop has somehow confused itself. I don't believe that this would happen with a fresh install.

I've just installed kdevelop and have the same problem. All the kdevelop and kdesdk related packages are installed. When starting kdevelop3 it gives an error that it cound not find plugins. Kdevelop3-plugins is also installed.

KDE has to be restarted after installing kdevelop to be able to use it. That was the problem.

I'm not using KDE, so I can't restart KDE.
