Traceback with Deskbar

Bug Description

The below traceback appears (in a dialog) while adding the deskbar applet (having been playing with configuration for quite a while). It may have happened b/c I put the deskbar near the topleft corner of my screen.

When I reboot, the same thing happens as soon as I log back in.

AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get_origin'

I just ran across this, although I'm not sure what I did to trigger the issue. I'll report back if I find more.
