Binary package hint: banshee

i hope this is already an old problem BUT it seems a lot of problem think banshee edits tags. the last version i downloaded for dapper still does not.

i reported this bug over a year ago to the banshee mailing-list and got a reply from aaron bockover that tag editing was on the way...

i personally think it is very VERY bad to trick the user into thinking he can edit tags when he is in fact only editing the database. i feel sorry for the people who spend hours of work only to move the music elsewhere and realise that they havent been edited...

the feature should be DISABLED until it WORKS...

This is fixed with 0.11.0-0ubuntu1 now... but you have to explicitly enable tag writing.

documentation/user interface is still very poor... i thought i would be editing (and writing the changes to) the file but was really only editing the internal database...
