Bug Description

Binary package hint: ec2-init

On a default Karmic EC2 AMI the components enabled for -security are different from karmic and -updates:

deb http://us.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ karmic main universe
deb-src http://us.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ karmic main universe
deb http://us.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ karmic-updates main universe
deb-src http://us.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ karmic-updates main universe
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu karmic-security main restricted
deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu karmic-security main restricted

The restricited component should probably be replaced by universe

<slangasek> any packages published to -security are copied immediately to -updates (which has the right sources.list entry), and the vast majority of UEC users are going to pull new images instead of upgrading their RC images to final

This bug was fixed in the package ec2-init - 0.4.999-0ubuntu6
