9.10 Server Guide pg 210 (Subversion) - 'HTPP' HTTP?

On page 210 of the PDF version (also online):

The above configuration snippet assumes that Subversion repositories are created under /home/svn/ directory using svnadmin command. They can be accessible using htpp://hostname/svn/repos_name url.

htpp:// is present, instead of http://

Here is the patch to fix the typo. However, vcs.xml does not validate:

 --Validating vcs.xml ...
vcs.xml:280: element xref: validity error : IDREF attribute linkend references an unknown ID "https-configuration"
Document vcs.xml does not validate

This has nothing to do with my edit and I'm not familiar enough with DocBook yet, so I just left it be.

Scott, thanks for the patch - it looks good, so I've applied it in Lucid development. The validation is a little confusing, you need to validate the parent xml, which we always name the same as the directory. In this case you would have run:

$ scripts/validate.sh serverguide/C/serverguide.xml
 --Validating serverguide/C/serverguide.xml ...

Shish, this was fixed in the development branch and will appear correctly in the Lucid docs. It's not a serious enough bug to qualify for a Stable Release Update (SRU).
