Bug Description

SRU Justification:

Impact: Karmic-LBM contains the latest ALSA stack for people having problems with the one released with the kernel or trying to enable hardware not supported there.

Fix: Backport to bring the LBM ALSA stack to the latest level.

I installed linux-backports-modules-alsa-2.6.31-20-generic along with the backports updates and verified that "ALSA: usb-audio - Added functionality for E-mu 0404USB/0202USB/TrackerPre " change from http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Changes_v1.0.22_v1.0.22.1 is present as I requested in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/495287
