Bug Description

This probably only affects architectures that have empty sections but as this case in via 2.6.31.7 and was fixed for 2.6.32 (the only reason it did not make it to 31 is the end of support for that release upstream), we should pull in that patch as well.

Subject: [PATCH] modules: Skip empty sections when exporting section notes

commit 10b465aaf9536ee5a16652fa0700740183d48ec9 upstream.

Commit 35dead4 "modules: don't export section names of empty sections
via sysfs" changed the set of sections that have attributes, but did
not change the iteration over these attributes in add_notes_attrs().
This can lead to add_notes_attrs() creating attributes with the wrong
names or with null name pointers.

Introduce a sect_empty() function and use it in both add_sect_attrs()

The fix has been committed and is included in 2.6.31-20.57. Though the regression and the initial problem was only visible in for parisc. So I would mark the issue as verified here. Loading modules on x86 has never shown the duplicate entries message nor the oops observed on parisc without this second patch.
