Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-manager
Currently, network-manager uses notify-osd in a suboptimal way.
Typical scenario:
My netbook is connected to the wireless network.
1. It suspends
2. It resumes and reconnects to the same network. While that happens, the network-manager displays the following notifications, in their full duration (5 sec each):
Network name
Disconnected
Network name
Disconnected - you are now offline
Network name
Connection established
While in fact, all that the user is interested in is:
Network name
Connection established
Another words, network-manager should take advantage of the "replace" hint in notify-osd and only display the most recent (therefore really relevant) notification.
