Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

The default OpenOffice splash screen in Ubuntu has a brown background, that is incongruous (and not good looking) to be used with the new Light theme in Lucid.
Tested with the latest Desktop and Netbook Edition development release (alpha 3 updated on 09.03.2010).

A screenshot is attached.

Ken,

Assigning this bug to you, if you think the splash should be updated let me know and I will add whatever you come up with. :)

We also need to be in contact with upstream about the logo change from Sun to Oracle.

Chris

We'll need to get the oracle logo and any rules they impose on displaying it. I have no idea who to contact, do you?

Just updated Lucid.
It's definitely not fixed because background is still brown, incongruos with the new Lucid theme.

It should be something like aubergine color, that looks like Lucid wallpaper.

Considering all the bits that we needed to get finished for Lucid and the fact that any new images would have to be approved by Oracle we decided to stick with the basics of what we had for now.
