This card should probably be quirked to modeset=0 where it will use XAA due to only having 16MB allocated to vram, and XAA has accel disabled post 6.12.912 which should fix this. Vince, can you adjust the amount of ram allocated to the GPU in bios and see if it still happens if you increase it?
