After installing gstreamer0.10 rythmbox isn't usable

Bug Description

- Install Gstreamer0.10
- start rythmbox
- it seems like ryhtmbox hang up,
  the reaction goes to zero

Thanks for your bug. What version of rhythmbox and Ubuntu do you use? Could you get a backtrace of the hang:
- gdb rhythmbox
(gdb) run
<Ctrl-C>
(gdb) thread apply all bt

Do you have any message on the command line?

That backtrace is not really useful. What do you call "install gstreamer0.10"? What package did you install? rhythmbox does use gstreamer0.10 to dapper so it Depends on it, there is no way to have it installed without gstreamer0.10, what did you have installed before?

i install a blank dapper. Then i want to hear mp3
so i had to install the plugins, bad* ugly* .... . I used synaptic to do
this.
Then i notice that there was the gstreamer 0.8 install.
So i removed the gstreamer0.8 and used 0.10 only.
Then i tried to start the rythmbox and the speed goes down,
that you can't use rythmbox in a normal way. There is a big delay in
everything.

the problem has solved with the last update...
nothing else done...
seems to work perfect...
