Clementine is a modern music player and library organizer. Clementine is a port of Amarok 1.4, with some features rewritten to take advantage of Qt4.

Features includes:
* Search and play your local music library
* Listen to internet radio from Last.fm and SomaFM
* Load M3U and XSPF playlists
* Edit tags on MP3 and OGG files, organize your music
* Download missing album cover art from Last.fm
* Cross-platform - works on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux
* Native desktop notifications on Linux (libnotify) and Mac OS X (Growl)

I echo this request. I used to love Amarok 1.x and Clementine looks fantastic.

Hey, Clementine developer here. Is there anything I can do to help?

The debian directory is already in upstream svn here:

@David - keep up the awesome work!

In order for clementine to show up in Ubuntu, I *think* step 1 is either to get it included in Debian or to follow this process:

Hello,

Rickard, why do you provide: Build-Depends: debhelper (>> 7.0.50~) ?
Could you update above to a more human like (>= 7.0.50) ?

David, as you are a developer of clementine-player, you should provide the same tarball file *.orig.tar.gz without debian/ directory on your upstream hosting. Address must be correct with debian/watch file.

Thanks

The Build-Depends should be debhelper (>= 7.0.50~), I need at least 7.0.50 because I use override rules, the tiled is there to make sure you can use pre-releases, such as releases from PPAs or 3rd party archives which commonly add tilde suffixes to make sure packages from official archives will replace them.

For the upstream tarballs; I have already contacted David via mail about that and it is already fixed: Version 0.2.99 and later will not have any debian/ directory, and the watch file worked just fine when I tried it with 'uscan --report'.

Rickard - thanks for progressing this bug and uploading to REVU. Sounds like we now just need to find at least 2 masters of the universe to approve your package:

Not a problem for me. My work is available in linked bzr branch. Artur Rona took ownership of this report earlier to day, probably with the intention to package it himself. Make sure to co-operate so you don't make any duplicate work.

Yes, I'm working on package with upstream author, David Sansome. If package will be published in Ubuntu's repositories, you can grab it for Debian.

Antonino, do you running Debian sid?
