Can eagle 4.16-2 be backported

compiles in prevu for the 32bit
but i dont know what to test
but it installs fine as well

Thanks zenrox. from my findings it should would on the 64bit version
with 32bit libs installed,however. I have not fully tested this theory
.

Someone with a 64-bit box should test building it though

John Dong under edgy 64 this is the lib it depends on libc6-i386.
Which is what me believe that the back ported 32bit version should
install under 64bit dapper. it was just a guess. You coders would
know more on this then I.

You're right, upon examination the 64-bit package is just a wrapper around the 32-bit package.

Though I'd still like for someone with amd64 to build this in prevu and see if it works.

well I got dapper 64 installed will see if i can get eagle
backported,and report any findings.

John Dong with the use of prevu eagle 4.16 back ported,and runs
successfully on dapper 64. If you want I can attach the 64bit deb
files.
