Non-text attachments are shown inline as if they are text

I have more information on this bug. It seems to be caused by a problem with the imap implementation. When using pop3 the e-mails are displayed fine. Other mail readers do not have trouble displaying these messages.

Nice detail: The imap server causing these troubles is a Novell one.

The bug is still present with GNOME 2.16.1 on edgy. Unfortunately I don't
have more information about the server. It's address is

Does the imap server works fine with an another client?

All other clients I tried work correctly (Thunderbird, KMail, MS Outlook)

I apparently also have this problem - the mail server is Novell NetMail, over IMAP, for me. Some emails (that I know are HTML ones) the entire message shows up as the MIME-encoded text (aka, I can't see any readable text) whereas others the attachment just shows up like this after the email. It works fine for me on Apple Mail.app in OS X 10.5. I use Intrepid AMD64, this was a problem in Hardy, and I think in Feisty and Gutsy too. (Can't remember when it last worked all the time, though it used to work some of the time.)

Oh, and it doesn't seem to matter if it's in the preview pane or opened, neither displays correctly.
