Brasero not write in correct speed

Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

After upgrade brasero to 2.30.2 in Ubuntu Lucid 64 bits the write speed crash. When i put 4x or 8x to write dvds brasero only write in 2.6x to 3.0x.

I try in my two drives (one sata and one IDE) and the same problem happen.

similar thing here (Brasero 2.30.2 under 10.04.1 on i386). Whatever speed I set, actual write speed is ~2,5.
When running growisofs on CLI, burn speeds are evaluated correctly (and actual burn speed is as specified).

Same here: Ubuntu 10.10 & Brasero 2.32.0-0ubuntu2.
Whatever speed I set, I tries to burn at maximum speed.
