Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
I've included the Ubuntu changes as submitted in Debian BTS #493721.

Two things (patch attached) are not included:
1. debian/GPL: Include a copy of the GPL-3 file, as some of the manpages are released under the GNU General Public License and the license requires it to be shipped together with the files being distributed under it (afaik).
2. Fixed typo for debian/copyright
