No audio output from analog ports on panda (omap4)

Bug Description

no sound is produced on the analog headphone/speaker jacks on the panda ES1 board, even after adjusting individual controls in alsamixer. This indicates that the correct controls are not exposed by the alsa driver.

i belive that will be fixed with thh new kernel and the ES2.0 hardware version of the panda board

Probably still not fixed, but could you test with current ES2.0 board and kernel? Then we can update the bug report as ES1 is not supported anymore.

Here is a script and changes to pulseaudio settings that will make it work. Not a solution, but at least points us in the right direction.

this bug should probably be turned into a duplicate of bug 637947 which has a ton of input from TI and is also the one this isue is worked on...
