Bug Description

Upgrading from 10.04 desktop to 10.10 causes the Xserver to crash because the fglrx driver is not compatible with xserver 1.9.

'apt-get remove fglrx' solved the problem.

Attached is xorg.conf that I removed when trying to resolve the issue.

I am still experiencing the same problem with xserver 1.9 and fglrx 2:8.780-0ubuntu1. I don't think the fix worked, or at least not for everyone.
