I had proposed to remove this page on ubuntu-devel [1] and I think there was broad agreement about it [1]

However I ran up against a difficulty in the packaging that I couldn't fix and asked for some help [2].

So far no one has responded to that email - if no one answers before Lucid is released I will certainly fix this bug.

TBH, I think changing ubufox this late to test offline/online is quite late in the cycle and chriscoulson has already zillions of tasks on his plate. I think we can go for updating the title this cycle and really set as an UDS goal to remove it for natty.

I don't think that this would require changing ubufox to test offline/online - ubufox already does that. It would just require the url to be changed to http://start.ubuntu.com for both offline and online functions. Having said that I haven't looked into how ubufox works in any detail so I may be wrong.

Anyway it doesn't matter because I haven't had any response to my query about how to fix ubuntu-docs to remove the offline startpage, so I don't think that this is capable of being resolved this cycle. I'll certainly fix this bug anyway.
