Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution-data-server

In some previous releases of Evolution, there was an X-Evolution-Source: header added to e-mails showing which folder/account they were in. That seems to have gone missing in (some) 2.30.x release(s).

I have a patch for attached to the upstream bug but I have no idea how correct it is.

Will this be making it into an updated evolution-data-server package for Maverick any time soon?

Brian,

It seems like the upstream developers would like to see some further changes to the patch you submitted. Are you still working on it? I think it would be preferable to include the patch in Ubuntu only in a case where upstream would be reasonably happy with the patch.

It would also help a lot if you could explain the expected behavior, how to test the patch, as well as risks of regression.

Thanks!
