evolution loses connection to exchange

Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution-exchange

for some reason evolution does not connect to exchange anymore. i have two computers running edgy and last week they both lost ability to connect exchange servers, saying just "Error while Refreshing folder.
Lost connection to Evolution Exchange backend process"

calendar seems to work, though.

(if e-mail of default mail app does not work, it is critical bug in my opinion)

funny thing is, when i deleted ~/.evolution folder, evolution on both computers worked again.

but then again, deleting a .*** folder is not an obvious solution for most of the users.

There's the potential that your dot file was corrupted. Does this still happen on Hardy?

Yes, I have it happen to me multiple times during the day. It is very, very, very frustrating.

oh, and I'm running Intrepid. So it's still there too.

I also see this very frequently. The only remedy that works is to run "evolution --force-shutdown" and to restart evolution. Often also the outlook calendars and adress books go away.
