Bug Description

I recently made a fresh install of ubuntu edgy (2.6.17-10-generic kernel), using gnome (2.16.1-0ubuntu1).
After installation ("apt-get install amarok) up goes amarok's initial configuration dialogue, in which i was able to configure the mysql settings, but then amarok crashes giving these errors:

Amarok: [Loader] Starting amarokapp..
Amarok: [Loader] Don't run gdb, valgrind, etc. against this binary! Use amarokapp.
X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 169
  Major opcode: 147
  Minor opcode: 3
  Resource id: 0x0
Failed to open device
X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 169
  Major opcode: 147
  Minor opcode: 3
  Resource id: 0x0
Failed to open device

Re-installing didn't help, nor compiling from source (different errors, but still was unable to run).
