Bug Description

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

After having sound playing for an extended period of time, sound sometimes starts "skipping". Following the instructions of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log I found numerous lines like the following occur during the "skipping":

(3456.283| 0.000) D: protocol-native.c: Requesting rewind due to rewrite.
(3456.283| 0.000) D: alsa-sink.c: Requested to rewind 18760 bytes.
(3456.283| 0.000) D: alsa-sink.c: Limited to 18760 bytes.
(3456.283| 0.000) D: alsa-sink.c: before: 4690
(3456.283| 0.000) D: alsa-sink.c: after: 4690
(3456.284| 0.000) D: alsa-sink.c: Rewound 18760 bytes.
(3456.284| 0.000) D: sink.c: Processing rewind...
(3456.284| 0.000) D: sink-input.c: Have to rewind 18760 bytes on render memblockq.
(3456.284| 0.000) D: sink-input.c: Have to rewind 18760 bytes on implementor.
