Bug Description

The icon shouldn't be hardcoded as an absolute path. Instead, an icon 'dexter' should be installed, so icon themes can provide their own.

alternatively, you could use the more generic "office-address-book" supplied with many themes.

In my opinion Dexter should use a 'dexter' icon like virtually all applications do, otherwise it is impossible to tell icons apart even if the icon theme author wants to give it its own icon.

I would say using the generic icon has a couple more benefits:
* it's more likely to be included in a theme, so it would work OOTB with more themes
* it will be consistent with action icons like addressbook-new and possibly mimetypes related to contacts.

And in any case, you shouldn't have more than one contacts app installed at a time, so the argument that it's bot unique enough doesn't really hold. In addition, many theme authors will simply symlink it back to office-address-book like we already do with so many other apps ;)

I do actually hope people will use only Dexter, since I find the interface most beautiful. In that sense I can agree :-D

Is there a theme that already implements it ? For the moment, i have an ugly standard icon.

Hmm, it's present in Humanity, elementary, Oxygen and many other themes. For some reason the GNOME theme doesn't have an address book icon O.o

I guess maybe we should install "office-address-book" after all?
