Bug Description

When viewing the gconf keys in the gconf-editor, it displays the following warning:

This key has no schema

However, the keys and values seem to work fine.

Yep was thinking about this one as well. Would be great to have such a schema file, so we could avoid quite a bit of code to set a default value, if no value is set.

It seems that gconf has been depreciated and replaced with dconf resp. GSettings (http://library.gnome.org/devel/gio/unstable/ch28.html#id717316)

It might be best to migrate GConf to GSettings and than create a schema file for it.

Branch with dconf/gsettings with schema has been merged into trunk.

This will mean that all done settings will be list and have to be redone.
