Bug Description

The readline man page says:

       menu-complete-krd
Identical to menu-complete, but moves backward through the list of possible completions, as if menu-complete had been given a negative
argument. This command is unbound by default.

Where it should say:

       menu-complete-backward
Identical to menu-complete, but moves backward through the list of possible completions, as if menu-complete had been given a negative
argument. This command is unbound by default.

Incidentally, the bash man page has the same typo.
It was probably cut and pasted from the readline page.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Natty Narwhal. It won't be fixed in previous versions of Ubuntu because the package doesn't fit the requirements for backporting. See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports for more information.
