Bug Description

Binary package hint: apport

The launchpad edge service is deprecated - http://blog.launchpad.net/general/edge-is-deprecated; future releases of launchpadlib remove the EDGE_SERVICE_ROOT. apports crashdb_impl uses the edge service rather than the production service.

This was fixed in apport r1807:
  launchpad.py: Default to "production" instance, not "edge", since edge is obsolete now.
which was released in apport 1.17
