Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

ISO Testing Upgrade 8.04.4 to 10.04.2

A dialog telling that "an error occurred while laoding or saving configuration information for nautilus" appears during upgrade from hardy to lucid. Screenshot attach

Test Case:
1. Install Hardy & updates
2. upgrade to lucid with update-manager

Result:
during the upgrade a dialog appears with the following text in the text area:
Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0
Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0
Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0
Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0
Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0

This looks harmess, I haven't noted any malfunction of Nautilus.

not sure about that right now but similar issue got discussed in the past and that might be a duplicate, it's nothing new and doesn't affect new ubuntu versions which stopped using corba so not likely to get really worked

lucid has seen the end of its life and is no longer receiving any updates. Marking the lucid task for this ticket as "Won't Fix".
