Banshee Crashes with path error when playing song

Bug Description

Banshee crashes with a path errors saying it can't find the location of the plugin directory. I recently updated to beryl and it seems to have started since the upgrade.

I have the same problem, no beryl involved though.

I also have the same problem. It did start for me after I installed beryl, and while I uninstalled the program itself, along with emerald, all the dependencies are still installed on my computer.

Crashes with error:
Cannot stat path /home/......./.gnome2/banshee/plugins/....

that path does not exist....

Could it have anything to do with a/the music library being located in an unwritable directory?
