Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Sometimes evolution just fails to start (~20% cases).

I get the following error message:

Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 610: _dl_open: Assertion `_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed!

It is hard to debug this for me, since in this case i get

/build/buildd/gdb-6.4.90.dfsg/gdb/linux-nat.c:545: internal-error: wait returned unexpected status 0x7f00
A problem internal to GDB has been detected,
further debugging may prove unreliable.

and gdb refuses to provide backtrace.

I am using Ubuntu 6.10, and never have experienced with previous evolution versions.
