Create new TestDrive Icon for IndicatorApplet when Drawing attention

If I understood how this indicator applet icon is used:
New release > Testdrive Icon shows up (1)
Any problem > Warning icon (2)

For (1) there is already an icon in the branch, we could use it. Its /testdrive/data/media/testdrive_22.png , the indicator applet uses 22px icons so it is better to use this one.

For (2) i've done two variations bottom row in the indicator-icons attachment, do let me know if something like this is what you were looking for.. :-)

Oh! and the wheel color is not "whiter" , its just transparent. So its color depends on the panel background.
And if it is previewed in the browser, it would seem whiter since the background is white.

I tried to keep the transparency appropriate for the default panel color.
If the icon is saved and previewed in EOG, by changing the background color we'd get a better idea of the color it would appear on the panel..

Cool icons indeed. However, I think I didn't make myself clear enough :(.

We are not looking a warning icon but rather an Icon that will draw the attention of the user when notifications are present. I'm attaching an screenshot of how it is currently working.

If you see well the TestDrive Icon successfully appears and also a notification is shown, however, the icon is two dark an can be mixed up (for some) with the color of the bar.

What i can see now is that the icon used in the panel is the 64x64 px icon, which is scaled down to 22px. So, this 64px icon will be less visible. Hence I also did a 22px version (/testdrive/data/media/testdrive_22.png ).
Could you try that 22px icon and see if it is any better? I suspect it would be a little improvement, but not major improvement. It's cause the colors being of the panel and the TD icon are both dark. (this was one of the reasons I had asked to use brown for the wheel when redesigning the icon.)

If that 22px version (/testdrive/data/media/testdrive_22.png ) is not any better, I could do the 22px testdrive icon's wheel in another color for the applet. [ green or blue ]

Or I could use a square background color[blue/green] behind the wheel which can stay the same grey color as it is now.

Indeed, but what I'm actually looking for is something that will draw user attention whenever there's a notification. So for example, the Messaging Indicator is white where during normal operation, but when there's a message it turns green. Right?

So the idea is to have something similar (keep the TestDrive Icon, but whenever there's a notification that needs attention from the user, display a new icon to draw the attention). I was kinda looking into the icon above with exclamation sign and I like it. Do you think it would be possible to have it in 64x64px?

So what TD is doing is show an icon always when Testdrive app open > Testdrive Icon displayed in panel (1)
New release > Notify icon (2)

For the notify icon, since you like the one with the exclamation mark(the first one in the bottom row). I can remove the transparency and change the red color to blue or green, whichever you prefer.

And why a 64px icon? when the icon used in the panel will be rescaled back to 22px. It is ideal to do icons only for the size they require. This is how the other panel icons are done too. The icons used in the panel are 22px icons. (note: its not an issue for me to do it in 64px ;) , but we usually do icons to size)

I wanted the 64x to have it just in case I wanted to use it for something else. And I like both the blue/green are pretty cool! If you could provide with both that would great!

I'v done the icons in 3 sizes(22px, 24px, 64px), and in the 2 colors (blue, green).
To my eyes, It seems that the blue one is more brighter. So, depending on how you want to have the icon displayed, you can chose the color.. :-)
