Bug Description

Binary package hint: claws-mail

Claws 3.7.8 on Natty appends all message I sent to the Sent folder twice. On Maverick with 3.7.6 this does not happen. I've purged all claws packages and re-installed. I've deleted ~/.claws-mail and rsync-d it from a working Maverick box. Still, all sent messages are appended twice.

Confirmed that this is a problem related to 3.7.8. I back ported 3.7.8 to ppa:barry/helpers and installed it on a Maverick system that works fine with 3.7.6. This backported package has the same problem. I'm trying a build-from-upstream source of 3.7.8.

A from-source build of 3.7.8 using upstream tarball exhibits the exact same problem.
