TEST CASE:
1. Upgrade a wubi system from maverick to natty
2. Restart
3. Login, keeping the default session
4. The login box disappears but the desktop doesn't start, only the background, no contextual menu on right click, no nothing.

thank you for your bug report, can you switch to a vt, copy .xsession-errors while the session is hanging and add it there?

I'm closing this report because it is not reproducible after multiple restarts and there's no trace of a failure. I'll reopen if I can reproduce and provide more information.
