Bug Description

The dialog that pops up asking for your gpg passphrase does not get focus. It did in prior versions. Small but annoying issue.

Thank you for your bug. How do you get that dialog? When clicking on a encrypted mail? It works fine on my desktop. Do you use the keyboard between the moment you click and the moment the dialog is opened? What do you call "get focus"? Is it not placed on first plan or just doesn't get key events? Do you use compiz or beryl or an another window manager than metacity (the default one) ?

When I click on a piece of encrypted mail a dialog box pops up asking
for my passphrase. In whatever Evo version I was using under Dapper,
that dialog would have "focus" ie. I could just start typing directly
away and didn't have to push the mouse pointer over and click on the
box.

I'm using Kubuntu so KDE is my wm. I did the install from scratch
(formatting /) but I then copied over the entire .evolution directory
into my new home dir. I used Automatix2 to install the binary Nvidia
drivers and some other apps.

you are probably using kwin (the KDE window manager) then, and that's a bug from it, reassigning. That works fine with metacity on GNOME

Appears to be fixed on current gutsy, where we use a different gpg agent (pinentry-qt)
