Bug Description

Gaim version 2.0.0beta3.1 , running on Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft.

I'm using a webssl portal to connect to my company.
One of my instant messaging protocal is Jabber, and should be connecting inside my web-ssl tunnel to my company Jabber's server.

Unfortunately, it does not work (it works perfectly on Windows)

So, I went to the "account menu", and forced a register from there
=> crash (repeated several times)

Edgy and gaim are not supported anymore. Please open a new bug if you get a crash with pidgin in a later version of Ubuntu.
