Bug Description

I am trying to access lp:~canonical-isd-hackers/oops-tools/isd-oops , but launchpad tells me I don't have permission. I am a member of canonical-isd-hackers, indirectly (via Canonical ISD (public)), so I think I should have access.

Specifically, if I browse to https://code.launchpad.net/~canonical-isd-hackers/oops-tools/isd-oops , I get:

  Not allowed here
Sorry, you don't have permission to access this page.
You are logged in as Selene Scriven.

... and if I use bzr, it tells me the URL isn't a branch:

  > bzr launchpad-login toykeeper
  > bzr whoami
  Selene Scriven <email address hidden>
  > bzr branch lp:~canonical-isd-hackers/oops-tools/isd-oops
bzr: ERROR: Not a branch: "bzr+ssh://bazaar.launchpad.net/~canonical-isd-hackers/oops-tools/isd-oops/".
  [1] 686 exit 3

As a test, I got direct membership to ~canonical-isd-hackers, in case inherited access wasn't sufficient, but it made no difference. Any ideas?

I noticed something else odd about this. While browsing the oops-tools branches...

  https://code.launchpad.net/oops-tools?field.lifecycle=ALL

... the first row of the branch table tells me:

A development focus branch hasn't been specified, [set it now].

However, I hear that the development focus has indeed been set, and is lp:~launchpad-pqm/oops-tools/trunk . But I can't access that branch either, and no pqm-owned branches are even listed in the table.

I'm not sure if this is related to the original access issue, but it seems possible.

The focus branch is indeed limited and you won't be able to see it.

If you can't see the stacked-on branch of a branch you are subscribed to, you will also get an error.

I'm going to subscribe ~canonical to the trunk, and that should fix things for you.
