Bug Description
I'm afraid this falls outside of the limits of backporting, but I want to ask because there is a sky2 ethernet driver bug in kernel 2.6.17 that hangs the ethernet connection and is driving me crazy.
Is it possible to backport linux-image-

yes, unfortunately that is quite insane... We've talked about it a bit before but for now kernel backports are not appropriate.
May I suggest contacting a kernel developer about backporting the sky2 fix to Edgy's kernel?
