Binary package hint: ubiquity
IIRC, In previous Ubuntu versions I would get a popup after installing the system telling me that some packages (spelling, hyphenation, etc.) for my main system language were not installed - I guess this was language-
Testing with a daily Live USB image from 20-03-2011 I did not get such a warning.
Tested on a ro_RO locale.
